Wine storage and what fits under a counter
LA Sub-Zero Repair Pros is an independent repair shop working on one part of the Sub-Zero range: wine storage and the units that live under a counter. Wine columns, full-height wine cabinets, undercounter refrigerators and drawers, beverage centers, combination units and undercounter ice machines — that list is the whole business, which is why the van carries fan motors, sensors, gaskets, water valves and control boards for exactly those machines.
Almost every one of them is built into joinery, and that is the part most repair calls actually turn on. An opening was cut to a published dimension, a grille was left clear or it was not, a panel of a certain weight was hung on a door rated to carry it. Get any of that wrong and the machine runs hot from its first week and fails early in a way that looks like a refrigeration fault and is not. So we read the opening before we read the appliance.

The code, then the symptom
Read the model code off the rating plate and say what the unit is doing. Those two things together decide which parts travel and how long to book, which is why the call is worth two minutes rather than twenty seconds.

The opening, then the machine
The grille comes off and the airway gets checked before anything is metered, because a blocked toe kick imitates half the faults on the list. Then temperatures, fan current, door closure and the control side, in that order.

Back in square, and running
The part goes in, the panel and grille go back on straight, and the unit is brought down to temperature while somebody is still there to watch the numbers settle. You see the readings before the van leaves.
