Sub-Zero Undercounter Units: Refrigerator, Beverage, Combination and Ice
Nearly everything here fits a 24-inch opening 34½ inches high, with a grille at the floor and a finished return showing on each side. What changes between the series is what happens behind that identical front.
The family resemblance is not a coincidence: Sub-Zero’s undercounter design guide gives one set of opening dimensions for the refrigerator, the beverage center, the combination unit and the wine cabinet alike, so a bar run drawn for one of them will usually take another. The ice machine is the exception, at a little over fifteen inches wide, and it is also the only one in the group that needs a drain.
That shared front hides real differences. A combination unit runs two temperatures and has a defrost problem the all-refrigerator does not. The beverage center carries a lighter door panel than its neighbours. The ice machine cares more about water than about refrigeration. Pick the series and the page says which of those is yours.
